Description
The second version of the Bitcoin
Block contains a newly mined
block of BTC from after ‘The
Halving’ of 2016, which is an event
occurring approximately every
four years in which the ‘block size’
is halved. This ‘halving’ algorithm
is central to Bitcoin, as it guarantees
that there is an ever-decreasing
supply. For this reasons, these
Blocks contain 12.5 BTC instead of
25 BTC. These bars were priced at
15 BTC, and the 25 BTC bars were
priced at 30 BTC each. They were
also offered in special collector’s
sets of 8 Blocks. It is worth noting
that the engraved text on the right
is in Chinese.
